To be assertive, one has to be aggressive! Every woman on this Forum is just that, no "cow-tows"! No one, Woman or Man, should have to "cow-tow" to anyone! In every "healthy" relationship there's usually a 50-50 split of dominance. Sometimes it can vary depending on the situation, but mostly equal.

Guess the final answer is "NO", don't like Women that cow-tow!! :guitarist

I'm a vegetarian, don't care for cows much either.

No, I don't think any educated man(for jives) would want a completely submissive woman. Although... once in a while it would be nice if you ladies would just give in to one of our silly ideas or requests. Our birthday would be the PERFECT time for that.

I don't mind women speaking their minds but I would like a clearer indication if when a reply is needed so that I know when to pay attention to what they are saying.

I want women to speak their mind if they have something to say. In the case of my wife, if she is silent I know trouble is brewing. If she speaks out, our relationship is much better and she keeps me out of trouble (when I listen).

well i believe in being subservient and shy, timid and respectful, dominated and told what to do by my man.

Gosh. I was just saying how I hate it when guys cow-tow to me. I recently yelled at a guy for acting like he's afraid of me. Not that he shouldn't be. Just that he shouldn't act like it.

I have been fortunate to have been married to two women (first one is deceased) that are very independent & outspoken,

and wouldn't kow- tow to anyone, even if a gun was put to thier head.
