Now I see it----My I Pad did not support the You Tube Link. Now I am on my PC and get the message.

I don't believe the teacher and school are part of a Public Education System but rather a Christian School. Most U.S. Public Education Facilities would balk at this kind of teaching.

At least, it would appear, not that black people are the sons of ham and forever damned as a consequence.

Given ready access to the internet how can they remain so ignorant of the world outside their religion? Or am I naive for assuming once they start thinking for themselves they will drift away from the fundamentalism of their parents

Many young folks follow this thinking until they get out in the world.

Then they have to resolve all the contradictions between what they were taught and what they see for themselves.

Some never make the transition.

Then they become parents and the cycle continues.

The narrator suggests that this is a public school, but I find that hard to believe, even in Tennessee.

I would bet dollars to donuts, that this piece was filmed at THIS school, rather than a public school:

Calvary Baptist School
