I don't normally go for the USA crime TV shows but I am absolutely loving 'Aphrodite Jones Investigates' series which shown In the wee small hours, suits my lifestyle just dandy.
On the same channel there Is 'America's most evil' etc etc..... All are truth life and none of the CSI nonsence...
After watching now for a few weeks, it occured to me America:
You've got some right bleedin nutters In your country haven't you? :wah:

Don't get me wrong Whizz bang.... It wasn't a slight.
For sure we have our share of nutters... Just wish we had a series like Aphrodite Jones.
On Sunday, she's looking at The Caylee Anthony case.... can't wait !!

Investigation Discovery Channel or I.D. is one of the fastest growing television channels and I watch it every night...I must say that I'm highly disappointed in some of these shows they're providing as it seems to glorify criminals ie.. "I almost got away with it" and "I married a mobster" etc.. to name only a couple...
It's actually led me to wonder just how many children growing up adoring Scooby Doo that tends to show an infinite amount of interest in criminal justice...The whole "are we programmed that way or were we born that way" argument that seems equally fitting to the characters that seem to irk our nerves...

By the way, if you like Aphrodite you would probably also like Maureen Maher. She hosts 48 hours mystery which I believe airs on CBS as well as ID...
There's also On the case with Paula Zahn On The Case With Paula Zahn : Investigation Discovery

No slight taken, with over 300 million living here we are bound to have a million or two nutters. Now what is your excuse for Spot?

I'd recently went to a Halloween party. I can't rid myself of the images I'd developed while attending. All I can seem to remember is an eerie gentlemen dressed in casual clothing contrary to an obvious long flowing dark haired wig. The entire evening I couldn't help but paradoxically fight with myself as to whether or not authorities either released Rodney Alcala, whether he'd successfully escaped, or if in fact my neuroticism was easily justified when contemplating what I'd do in the event he attempted to murder one of us.

Needless to say, he probably had the same eerie impression of myself.
