Depleted Texas lakes expose ghost towns, graves - US news - Life - msnbc.com
I didn't realize that Texas was experiencing such an extreme drought as this and hope they get some relief soon. I found the article interesting and I think it would be a history buffs' dream come true to be allowed to explore the area. I understand the need for eminent domain and realize it's supposed to be for the greater good of the people but it always bothers me to think of the individuals who have their lives turned upside down and are allowed no say in the matter. Hopefully those people who were forced to leave were paid a fair price for their property and inconvenience but I'm not holding my breath.
