i cannot write too much about this as it is an ongoing case

but it must be the most shocking thing i have ever written on the FG

and sends a cold shiver down any parents spine

but the most shocking thing of all it happened here in britain

A MONTH-OLD baby boy was fighting for life last night after being raped and battered.

He suffered a cardiac arrest brought on by his multiple horrific injuries.

In one of Britain's worst ever child abuse cases, every rib was fractured and the boy also suffered a broken arm, broken collar bone, punctured lungs and severe bruising.

There was also a sexual injury and internal wounds suggesting rape. A 46-year-old man was under arrest last night on suspicion of rape and grievous bodily harm. A woman was also in custody.

The child was taken to Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, on Thursday. He had a heart attack there and was transferred to King's College Hospital in South London, where he was on a life support machine last night.

A source said: "These are the worst injuries the doctors and police have seen in someone so young. How the baby is alive is a miracle. He is still in a very serious condition and it's touch and go whether he survives."

The suspects are being held at North Kent police station.

A police spokeswoman said: "A baby was admitted to hospital on Thursday. Its condition is critical but stable.

"Police are currently investigating. A man and woman have been arrested."

I'm sorry ....but do you get off on this **** or something? And no it's not he most horrific in british history or the worst child abuse case ....get over yourself for gods sake . This crap happens all the time it's just that papers dont report it unless it's topical at the time or get wind of it or your government wants to change societal opinion to change a law..... get a grip man .

The baby has suffered horrific Injuries however, the reports In the newspapers state that the man Is being Investigated for rape. It does not say anywhere In any newspaper as yet that the man has raped the baby and It could be a seperate charge all together.

Until the couple appear In court, no-one will know weather the baby was raped or not.

COPS investigating the alleged rape of a one-month-old baby boy say he is still in a critical condition in hospital today.

It comes after detectives appealed for calm following a vigil by locals led to angry scenes in Gravesend, Kent, on Saturday night.

More than 100 people had gathered at the house where the tot was found with horrific injuries, before moving to an address where they thought a man arrested over the crime was staying.

Objects were thrown at the house and a second vigil took place last night, attended by 80 people.

Police said today that the boy was still critical but stable as he was cared for by doctors.

It has already been reported that the boy sustained fractured ribs, a fractured arm and collar bone, punctured lungs and internal injuries.

But Chief Superintendent Neil Jerome said officers were still working with hospital staff in London to establish the exact nature of the youngster's injuries.

He added: "There's been a lot of unhelpful speculation around social media and also what's going on in the community.

"It's our job to establish the facts and to conduct a thorough and professional investigation"

Teddy bears and candles have been left outside the property where the baby was said to have been battered and sexually abused last Thursday.

A 35-year-old man and 33-year-old woman have been held on suspicion of assault but released on bail.

Describing the baby's condition, Mr Jerome said: "He continues to be treated in a London hospital, and his condition is described as critical but stable.

I would ask that the community's response is focused upon the welfare and the swift recovery of the baby boy.

Well the "still in a critical condition" is no longer true and the two who were arrested still haven't been charged, Andy. Your frenetic thread title is starting to look more and more dubious.
