Eliminator came out while I was at University and is when I cottoned on to them. Had most of their stuff at one time. But somehow I've never had them on CD, the old cassette tapes have died, I can't play vinyl and they sort of drifted off my musical radar. Been having a lot of fun rediscovering them today! :)

... must have a dig around for my Stevie Ray Vaughan as well.

They make some fine musicians in Texas.

(It's a bit late here to play yours above at a volume worth listening to tonight. Listened to a couple of La Granges today. Reminded of a band called Black Oak Arkansas who I'll try and see if I can find tomorrow. Grungiest voice I've EVER heard...:))

Can't seem to link to any BOA. I would guess you know them anyway...

Time for a little Texas Flood. "It's rainin' down in Texas/ All the telephone lines are down..." twangly twangly plink plink.:)

Just found this. Excuse me while I dribble.

...and cry. He was clean by this time, and better than ever. Died in that copter smash two weeks after, apparently.

I've always enjoyed good blues guitar technicians like SRV, Hendrix and Page, though I've never been much of a fan of ZZTop. David Rhodes, who plays for Peter Gabriel is also a favorite of mine although he isn't blues oriented.

When it come to pure rock and roll, it's hard not to be taken away by The Boss. Springsteen is an underrated guitarist who is very accomplished. Nils Lofgren, another member of the E Street Ban is also quite fun to watch and listen to.

In this video, Bruce shows off a bit. The recording isn't the best but it's good enough.

Allman Bros one of my all time favorites.

Check this one out. This video features Nils Lofgren, it's quite good.
