Just been reading his life story, what a guy, absloute genius and mad as cheese, here is a man who once pushed a steel needle into his eye socket "betwixt my eyeball and the bone" and wiggled it about to see what would happen, he was also said when rising in the morning to sit motionless with his feet on the floor because of the flood of thoughts that he had when he awoke, I have to add that I sometimes exhibit this but not for the same reason.

Hello Bothwell, I also enjoy reading about Newton's life. It was said that, in a bid to time how long it would take to boil an egg, he instead boiled his stop-watch mistaken it for the egg, which he held assuming it was the stop-watch. Furthermore, his cat once dropped his lighted lamp which unfortunately fell on his papers containing 20 years work on optics which was burned and lost forever. I told a friend who is a Physics major, that they all have reason to thank Newton's cat otherwise Physics (particularly optics) would probably had been more voluminous than we know it today.

Isaac........yet another example of the fine line between genius and madness.
What's the deal with that?
Maybe it's psychologically torturous to be so clever, oh well, it's not a problem I'll have to deal with any time soon. :p

BOTHWELL,
Sir Isacc Newton may have been mad as CHEESE but what a genius he was, just a few of his contributions..
Mathematics, Physics, Optics,The Calculus Priority Dispute,MECHANICS AND GRAVITATION,ALCHEMY AND CHEMISTRY,HISTORICAL AND CHRONOLOGICAL STUDIES, RELIGIOUS CONVICTIONS AND PERSONALITY.
The man had some much going on in his head I'm surprised he ever slept..

a interesting guy.
