What is the flaw that you detest about yourself ?

Mine is obviously my humility, in fact I believe if was not so damn humble I might achieve perfection, so much better than having an inflated ego wouldn't you say ?

Overanalyzing. I hate it that I have to know everything, why it happened, what it means, what it really means, what I think it means, what they thought it meant, and so on ad infinitum, ad nauseum..:-5

Maybe one of mine is that I'm far too self contained. I seem to plod along and totally refuse to ask anyone to help me.

I never outgrew the need to argue with people.

I am sure that if I did, my nose would not get broken so often.

I have many flaws but I don't detest anything about myself.

The trait that gets me in the most trouble is Honesty... but that's not really a flaw, is it? My flaws are usually what help people like me. My strengths are the things that people attack. It would be hard to want to change my flaws since they are the only reasons I have friends.

Did anyone notice my opening post was a joke ?

I am not perfect......well.....who is ?

My most irritating trait is procrastination, I am not lazy, I can work till I drop, but if you want something done NOW better you told me last week.

It is sometimes hard to detect things like irony or sarcasm in posting. When I remember to do so, I LOL & it gets me in less trouble. I rarely remember to lol however.

Is it just me or is FG playing up today, taken me ages to get on here and then it took ages to let me post.

When I read your post all I kept singing to myself was that song from years ago, 'oh lord it's hard to be humble, lalalalala when you're perfect in every way' :wah:

I used to use the smilies when using sarcasm or Irony just so the American members knew I wasn't Insulting anyone. I tend to only use LOL to annoy Spot.

I agree. Americans aren't good with sarcasm/irony, they must be LOL'd or they think you are being nasty. As yet, I have no reasons to annoy Spot, but I look forward to it!

Did you notice mine was a joke?

I found the OP more cheeky than funny but I did catch the humour of naming a virtue as a flaw.

Yes, I noticed... I just wasn't sure if it was an intentional joke.

OK OK the opening post was jokingly put, but the topic was serious.

I have owned up to my procrastination.................I had intended to post this topic weeks ago.

The flaw that frustrates me most is taking on too many tasks/projects, each feeding off the energy from the others, then not finishing everything. I do finish my paintings and some of my scripts but I get annoyed with the projects left part way.
