Thanx for the post Koan. The WOD is a complete farce and comparable to anything invented by the USSR in their penal system. They may have had different reasoning but the reasoning in both instances was and is deeply flawed.

What really got me interested was the filmmaker's suggestion that a better approach would be to recognize drug use as a public health issue instead of a criminal one.

Ta Da. More accurate, more fair... and I bet the statistics would drastically change to show that a heck of a lot more white people are abusing the stuff.
