I have watched the movie 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' and was curious as to what it would be like if it had been written by Charles Dickens? My theory is that all the women would have been Victorian (obviously) and he would have been a bachelor lord or something.

Anyone have any idea's? I hope this doesn't cause offence to such a brilliant writer, thanks.

It has to have Colin Firth in it, book, movie or otherwise. In wet clothes, of course.

Dickens couldn't write women to save his life[1]. And we know what it would have been like if he'd written it because he did - it's a novella called A Christmas Carol. If he could have claimed royalties he'd have claimed them, the movie's stolen.

[1] - unless he was allowed to kill them mid-book, of course, and take at least twenty pages milking the pathos. Little Nell or anyone female from Oliver Twist or David Copperfield's wet wife, for example.
