I had one recently..........

I have a large family but I got an e mail from my 16 year old great niece recently just saying 'Auntie Julie, I need your help'...

My three year old grandson was looking at a piece of paper with some writing on it. He asked me if I knew what it said. I said no what does it say?

He said, "It says dear Pappy, I love you very much." He calls me Pappy..

Thank you, Oscar...it is.

I'm not clinical staff but I'm up and down the ward all the time with messages and paperwork. And you know, it melts my heart when this happens. And, to sit with someone and hold their hand is a gift to both of us.

Finding out a kid everyone but you had written off hadn't dropped out when he disappeared. He'd moved, stayed in school, and graduated!

I've got a paint buddy coming over tomorrow so I'm hoping for a lot awesome in the next twenty-four.

I tell a joke....and somebody laughs.

I have been wracking my brain and an awesome event did happen recently, I could go into detail but it all boils down to my adopted daughter phoning to ask me to verify a conversation she had with me and her mother about her boyfriend.

And why such awesomeness ?

Because she knew I would tell it like it was, unlike her mother that might have 'forgotten' or be "diplomatic."

The fact she has that much trust and respect for me made me feel really Awesome
