I touched on this on another thread.

In my experience, those who make broad statements usually mean the complete opposite... For example:

' I'm a right hard nut me' usually translates to ' I'll cry If you disagree with me'.

'You'll have to take me as you find me'.......... please let them like me.

' Me and all my mates were cracking up'...... I wish I had some friends'

' My family think the world of me........ They won't be seen In public with me'

'That's the way I roll'......... I'm a complete arssehole

' I speak my mind'...... I don't have a mind to speak of.

I have hundreds of Facebook friends......... I have never met any of them.

I didn't come here to make friends'........... Please be my friend.

' I am what I am'........... I wish I was you.

nah I mean what I say ..........unless of course I dont.

Funny the "'That's the way I roll'.........one of my sons said that to me, and I said to him ..."what you're an arsehole?" lol lol lol

I pretty much mean what I say. Have to agree with Fuzz about the "way I roll" comment though. The opposite isn't "I'm an *******." that's what it is supposed to mean at the point of saying.
