Hello fellow internet users,

as the title suggests I was peer pressured into joining this site. So I have.

It is a little too green for my liking, but that is neither here nor there.

Anyway, I just wanted to post this for future record.

Peer pressure can be terrifying. Good thing her friend didn't insist she do something even worse than joining FG.

I did resist the pressure to steal free samples.

I felt that would be crossing the line.

I'm a hoarder of free samples and I'd be very cross if someone stole them.

In that case I would be doing you a favour. Otherwise you may find yourself on such classic shows as the family favourite TLC 'Hoarding: Buried Alive' - Free sample edition.

But the pressure for FG was undeniable ?

And joining FG is not crossing any lines ?

Did I saw hello yet ?

Hello

Your queries are three-fold.

1) I have a weakness for forums regarding cultivation

2) Theft is regarded as a crime universally. Joining FG is not.. as of yet. There is still time.

3) No.

The revolution, when it arrives, will abolish property in which case theft becomes obsolete.

All samples will be free, Comrade. The revolution, when it arrives, will also abolish money.

"Free" will be meaningless when everything is free. No point in hoarding free samples then.

Blimey. Either that's eyes wide shut or I might set up a book on who you're here to tag with. Revolution, eh?

I've read this thread several times and I still haven't a clue what it's about. I feel as if I've stumbled into the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Granted, this isn't a first and it's unlikely to be a last either...I appear to be on a steady decline into old age muddle.

Anyway, hello to xara, and a wave to Betty, whose post I did understand

Don't worry Theia, it's the youngsters living in their own world, and talking out loud their wildest fantasies......we have all done it.

young·ster

n.

1. A young person; a child or youth.

2. A young animal.

I assure you I am not a child, youth or a young animal.

Perhaps whoever wrote 2 was thinking Steer, not Ster.

I've just read the thread again and I think it's one of those where you have to be "in the know." I'm not "in the know" and so I find it confusing...

such a cruel trick to play on us oldies who are confused enough as it is

You do however show a childlike naivete, nothing wrong with that.

Better listen to the advice A prudent man keeps knowledge to himself, but the heart of fools blurts out folly. and butt out.

Old is relative.

30 is old to a 4 year old, but young in the eyes of a 93 year old.

Very true...but then there's society's view and the individual's view of her/himself, both of which are influential.

Talk of revolutions and such.........belongs with youth and the young at heart and the naive......I am not opposed to it, just recognise it for what it is...........mind.....I am often wrong.

Even, or maybe especially, in collective communities, hoarding or appropriating an excess share of the common wealth is considered to be a major crime.
