Hi

Just wanted to say hello. Glad there's a place where you can have a decent discussion, love the different topics.

My name's Tim and I'm married with two young children (4 and 4 months). My hands are pretty full! In my spare time I enjoy running and reading. I work full time at Simply Patio Heaters.co.uk based in Redhill, Surrey.

Hi Bruv

Many thanks for your quick reply. We're a small family business and we're doing ok - I think the good weather has certainly helped with sales.

How are things for you?

Kind regards

Tim

I am getting by thanks.

You don't need to 'sign off' on a forum.............unless of course you want to.

Is your membership here anything to do with your latest promotion ?

Just asking.

Hello and welcome - if you don't find a topic to excite your fancy then start one that does.

There are lots of members and I cannot think of many subjects that haven't sparked an interest from history to refrigerating butter and from knitting neckties to the latest scientific advances - oh, and there's religion and politics :wah:

Dive in, have fun :-)

Hi Bruv

I love listening to the debates on LBC and always enjoy debating with my wife (and vice versa!) So looking forward to jumping in and debating during my lunch hour.

I am considering putting up a thread about whether it's right that the Government can have permission to read your websites and emails. My view is although some might say it goes against civil liberties if it's in the national interest then yes they should. I certainly don't have anything to hide.

Good to virtually meet you Bruv.

Best wishes

Tim

I believe tie makers/sewers are called 'Slippers'

Don't know why I know that.........perhaps it's wrong.

Don't you drop the book when running and reading?

Welcome, even if you don't drop the book don't you find keeping it steady enough to read a bit of a problem? Not to mention the danger of running in to things. I let my taps do the running. Must confess I never quite get the need of patio heaters. If it's that cold I'll sit indoors
