My little man is such a deep thinker sometimes. He's become quite fond of the movie The Wizard of Oz. While watching it the other day he said, Momma, what would happen if she followed the red brick road instead? I said well I guess she would go somewhere completely different and it would be a whole other story.

It got me to thinking, I wonder what would happen if sometimes when faced with choices we tried following the red brick road instead of the yellow one. :)

Life is a constantly changing network of possibilities. With every choice you make future paths cut off as new paths are created.

With every day of our lives the Norns weave together the treads of our lives to make the fabric of reality - with every choice we make they discard some threads and spin new ones into the mix.

Do what George Costanza did--making every day opposite day.

George's every instinct is wrong, so he decides that doing the opposite must be the way to go.

My instinct has always been to avoid the crowded path.

If only life was laid out in easy to follow colored paths.

Wouldn't work for most of us, here. Most of us would be wandering off the paths and trying different ones, going the wrong way, or just sitting down in the middle to see what folks do about it.

Isn't there an old saying, something about the road less traveled? :)

LOL I'd probably go off on the wrong path just because I liked the color. :)

If you go to Old Street station in London you will find a green brick road. Several times now I have followed it, out of the station and through the town.

When you reach the end of it you know - you're at the best eye hospital around :-)
