Okay so they did not call for frost this morning, guess what? frost. I thought i was going to lose all my plants. Tommorow night , 30, I am going to have to cover all my vegtable plants and hope my flowers and fruit trees make it on there own. Last week we were in the 80's now we seem to be lucky to get 60.

A lot of it depends on how 'deep' the frost is and for how many hours,
I've had stuff make it through fine even at say 30 degrees F. Make
sure everything is watered really well during the daylight hours before
the frost, that will help some. Freeze dried is a reality unfortunately!
If you can get some cardboard boxes they will help, open top and slide
them right over individual plants. String Christmas lights through things
to bring temps up a bit. Or find some hay/straw somewhere and scatter
that.
There are commercial sprays, I think one is FrostPruf? but I can't make any
claims to those, I've never used them.
I wish you good luck and believe me, I know how it is, I've been out in coat and
ear muffs dragging tarps and cussing a blue streak!!!

The temperature here in Cebu City is 37 centigrade. But we don`t consider the weather crazy since it`s summertime. So either it rains or shine for us in this tropical island, Cebu.. Here`s a song for you to get by.
