Sending you love...

If she was in overnight then she's being poked by interns and told it's time for breakfast, I'm not expecting her online until... oh, another two hours at least. Give her time for the trip home and a coffee.

I hope the procedure went well yesterday, Anne and that it'll be smooth sailing for you from here onward!

We should find her a nearby amusement park with one of those helter-skelters and she could recuperate on that. No moving parts, great view, it's an ideal relaxatory toning device. Every town should have one except they take up a lot of room. The alternative, perhaps, would be getting a friendly Fire Crew to let her use their pole when nothing's burning.

Thank you all so very much! They ended up sending me home 10pm Tuesday night. Very groggy & in some pain yesterday, but starting to feel much better today. Spot, very famous amusement park near me, I live 15 minutes from Coney Island, no rides for me for awhile. ((Theia)). Thanks for remembering.

It's really good to hear from you, Anne, and to know that you're beginning to feel better. And I did think of you on Tuesday...I was sat at my desk and looked at the clock around about lunchtime (UK time) so although I probably got the times wrong, you had a thought :)

And there was me about to post a Youtube link to "Another One Bites The Dust". Congratulations on surviving, Anne. Did you bring home any souvenir parts from the surgery?

I did indeed. Two stents. Also, lots of puncture wounds.

Oh be fair, after all the effort it's cost her she might as well take her time recovering instead of rushing it. Put your feet up, Anne, learn Russian and have a go at a few Tolstoy novels in the original.

I think this is the first time I have ever heard you be a kind, considerate human! I have noticed thru this post you have been "there."

Are you feeling OK?

Or perhaps you are in love...:-4

Or maybe just enjoying being a friend to someone?

Good for you, Spot!

You deserve it!!

All these years I'd completely forgotten I'd spent a night in hospital but it's quite true, I did once as a teenager when I got driven off a snow-covered Welsh hillside after several days under canvas and given a bed at the Crickhowell War Memorial Hospital overnight to get my core temperature back up to normal. I'm not sure I'd ever touched linen sheets before, it was complete luxury, I even got a cup of tea and a hot bath. Since then I've been prescribed the occasional ointment or remedy to treat incautiously acquired infections and had the odd needle thrust into my arm but that's it.

It is so nice, and rare, to receive good wishes. I'm really grateful. :-6 Being unwell for so long is something I can't recommend. Hopefully this really is a new beginning.:D

What you need now to keep your circulation adjusted is leeches. They'll live quite happily for months in a jar in your bedroom, they're cheap and you don't even need a prescription. Perhaps we could each post you a couple.
