I am usually out on a Friday night but a few Friday nights recently, I have been home and watched the Graham Norton Show. ( Only because he happened to have John Bishop as a guest recently who I fancy ) anyway....

One week his guest was Cameron Diaz. I know what she does and her appearance was marvellous. She was entertaining, funny, witty and Interesting.



Tonight he had Charlize Theron as a guest. I know what she does also. Her apperance was also marvellous. Interesting, witty etc etc.

In between these episodes, I watched the re-run of Alan Carr Chatty man and he had Kim Kardashian and now I'm stumped. Don't get me wrong. She Is stunningly beautiful with a booty I'd kill for but what does she do folks?

Poor Alan Carr was left trying to engage what appeared to be a vacuous sloth and I was waiting for her to say something that would Indicate her role In life. It never came.

She did smile a lot but I think that was embarrassment at wondering what the hell he was talking about.

The unanswerable question about Hollywood. What did that useless, brainless moron Paris Hilton ever accomplish in her pointless, wasted life?

I wouldn't spend 3 seconds watching anything about the Kardashians. (Or Hilton) They are convinced that because they are beautiful, then their lives MUST be interesting to us mere mortals. They have accomplished nothing of any significance and probably never will. Too bad their looks won't last for their entire lives. A bunch of bimbos is all I see.

I have been wondering about that same thing for years.

I think one of the Kardashians was married to some Olympian, or something.

Of course I don't really get the TV shows about Ozzy, or Gene Simmons, either, but at least I know they DID something.

That's the bit I don't get. Celebrity's become celebrity's because they do or did something. Even people who are just local celebrities In the neighbourhood have been recognised as the local celebrity because they do or did something.

I don't ever watch these reality shows either. I just don't get how she became a celebrity to the status she enjoys by being a celebrity.
