Watching last night on ESPN because a 'home town' team

was in... they give player's stats and I was taken aback

by one player's size. A 12 year old boy, he was 6'2" and

weighed in at 190 pounds!! I don't know how the other team

even pitched to him! The smallest player? Five foot even, and

75 pounds. EGADS!

Petaluma plays tonight against Hawaii, they win that one

and it's on to the Little League World Series!

I remember going up against 6'2" 12 year olds in my little league teams(Am. Football, basketball, and baseball). Half of them had beards. It wasn't a surprise to see some of them chewing tobacco either.

I could maybe, kinda see a 12 year old that tall but no way would he be that heavy. I can count on one hand the number of super tall young kids I've seen that had any bulk to them and they were generally overweight and not in shape.

I'm sure they triple checked the kid's age but it still smells fishy. I was 5'8" in high school and I was taller than 75% of the boys in my class. What the hell are they feeding kids nowadays!?!

I don't know what they're feeding them, but it sure is weird. Didn't hear any of

the announcers say anything about it, either.

He looked like an adult at the plate, almost.

We'll get to see them again soon, they won and are headed to the

Series!!

They better win, they've got an X-man on the team.
