Get some free website building software and make your own, hosting is not very expensive, and it is all yours.

There are others, but here is one
And hosting is best not free, if you are serious.

If you need a website, you need to take care of 3 components - domain, hosting and actually creating a website.
When it comes to the domain and hosting, which I'd suggest paying for as it comes up to appx $50 a year, and otherwise you get flooded with ads. I use Whois Lookup & IP | Whois.net though there are many others, with mostly similar offers, if you just Google website hosting you'll come up with dozens of viable options.
As for actually building a website, if you have a larger budget it's easiest and probably best to pay a professional to build it for you. If your budget is limited, a good option is CSM Made Simple
Open Source Content Management System - Open Source CMS - CMS PHP - CMS Made Simple
It is open source, the basic package is fairly easy to install, and there is a pretty wide choice of modules you can add to suit your needs. If you have any basic web design skills, or have spare time to go digging around, you should be able to get all you need, and more, out of it. This is a site a friend and I created using purely CMS Made Simple (apart from the forum bit)
Home | Nothing Exchange
We had barely any prior experience with web design, so I'd say it worked out pretty well.
I think there are other similar systems out there as well, but I've never used them, so I can't really speak for how good they are.
