I don't have a duvet, just some fleece blankets of various thicknesses. One's kind of a hideous pseudo-Native American pattern, god knows why I bought it but it's toasty warm. I recently bought some nice heavy-duty flannel sheets with a snowflake pattern. I also have one of those body pillows in a sort of crushed velvet/fleece/fake-fur look in brown. And I've got a little cat bed on my bed that's heated and is leopard print on the inside. So basically my bed is a messy mix of tacky. It's a futon with a memory foam mattress on top of that.

TMI? I could go on some more if anyone is interested in what kind of toothbrush I use.

My actual duvet is a creamy white colour.

My duvet cover is deep red, unless it's in the wash and not dried in time to go straight back on, then it's terracotta.

I have a Thomas the Tank Engine one, then there's the one that's like the bonnet of a car and when you sit up in bed you can make a Brrrmmmm sound and pretend you're driving

I get the most pleasure from a stick shift but it always grinds while slamming into 1st.

Obviously I can't negotiate the corner by the bedroom door to the bathroom unless I change down

Well, I wanted to bling it up a bit so I had a hand stitched leather knob cover fitted

At Halfords.

Fitted like a glove, well a fingerless glove at least

With the help of a young Halfords salesman and the soft hide of a well kept cow. I get a better grip now and it doesnt slip when changing down

A velcro mitt will stop your knob sliding out of your hand.
