A 77 yr old Nova Scotia woman has been charged with the attempted murder of her 75 yr old husband who seems to have been poisoned.

The woman was convicted of seven counts of theft through internet dating ($20 000) in 2005 and convicted of manslaughter of a previous husband by drugging him and running him over with her car in 2001. She had moved to Florida after her first prison sentence was served (2 of 6yrs) where two of the men she dated became ill and one died, but no charges were laid in those events.

Two out of six years served for running over husband? That was pretty lenient. Must have had mitigating circumstances. Probably will get only 30 days in jail for the 7 counts of theft.

The theft was already dealt with. This is her second murder related charge. I'm thinking she was let out after two years last time because of her age.

If she's doing all this now, has someone checked into her earlier life?

Seems her criminal history goes back to 1970 and they might be revisiting the circumstances of her second husband's death now. The dude she ran over with a car for a manslaughter conviction was her third husband.

The guy she stole the money from was also poisoned but survived. He believes she fed it to him when she brought him ice cream in a custard cup every night.

77 and still going strong . I'm a little bit impressed with that. buyer beware.

Divorcee's are obviously safer than widows. Just sayin.
