Who thinks that some of the frou-frou menu items

nowadays are just a tiny bit out of control?

One newspaper review I read had a dish called

SEA URCHIN MOUSSE. I kid you not! EWWWW!

Same restaurant had some hotshot bartender

with new cocktails... one was made with tequila

and FRESH BELL PEPPER JUICE. BLEAH!!

We're all gonna die!

Maybe a trip to Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck restaurant is out of the question then

The Fat Duck Tasting Menu

My son and I would love to go there. The snail porridge is supposed to be wonderful. I don't have a problem with trying unusual food

But presumably you won't go there at £180 per person :-2

I would have nothing to eat at the Fat Duck. At any price!

In Masterchef last year, the rage seemed to be ' Cockle Emulsion'.... looked like someone had blown their nose all over the dish.

I don't drink tequila and I dislike bell peppers so that doesn't appeal to me at all. I like the idea of making drinks with healthy juices though.

After reviewing the menu again, ok, I would go but only to drink & have dessert. When are we going?
