Why do some partners become so possessive ? What's the point?

I know a few people like this and the most recent Is the guy I took on part time for our gardening work.... He did a job yesterday with me and In 4 hours, his wife phoned him 7 times !!!

Where are you now ?

Well how long will you be ?

What time will you be finishing ?

What a complete waste of energy and angst.

One word...insecurity.

He may have eraned those calls.

Insecurity along with over reaction and possibly guilt in some cases. Some people wear their emotions on their sleeves.
