I cook Chili when its chilly. Lots of ground beef, pork sausage and quartered roma tomatoes. Not too spicy. As a side I make corn bread or rice. The best for our rainy weather.

Today I made a bean soup served with warm buttered french bread ... yum!

Any kind of soup, stew or chili is great on a cold raw day. :yh_clap

I like to cook up a big pot of Gumbo. Chicken and sausage, if I can find some good Andouille, or Shrimp if I can find a good price.

Last wee, I made up a duck and Andouille Gumbo. Hooboy it was good.

My wife likes to make up a pot of Chili Verde when it gets cold. It's kinda like gumbo with pork, but with Chili peppers instead of Okra.
