The shoulder bag is in fact the camera case, and the camera which took the photo is (as best I can tell) an Agfa Billy with the Compur lens bought (possibly in Holland or even Germany) a year either side of 1948 when the range was just about obsolete. It took perfectly adequate photos though.

If you ever come back this way for another photo by that sign post bring lots of cash. You have to pay to get near that sign nowadays and only the official photographer can take a picture! :rolleyes:
