Interesting articles on the history of cuckoo clocks! They have a fairytale quality to them in addition to being elaborate works of art. I particularly like the black mantel clock shown in the first article. Not only is it beautiful but I like that it also has the eye movement of the rabbit & dog. That would be fun to watch although possibly creepy on a dark and stormy night!
