It's something that strikes fear Into my husband. He decides It's a) not worth the effort for the amount of grief Involved and b) something he doesn't want to be part of and takes himself off for a walk leaving me with the fearsome task once a month.
My checklist:
Every breakable Item removed from the bathroom
Floors and furnature covered In towels.
Disenfectant
Gloves
Muzzle securely attached
Double check Muzzle Is securely attached
Check water temperature
Attempt to coax dog from behind the shed
Bribe dog out from behind the shed with chicken
Re-check Muzzle Is securely attached.
Drag dog by his collar Into the bathroom.
Lock bathroom door behind me
Put on my shower proof raincoat
Check Muzzle Is securely attached
Get dog Into bath
Having forgotten his shampoo, go look for shampoo
Put dog back In bath
There has to be a simpler way surely? Yes, I could just not bathe him but he stinks.
