I've never had dial up myself, i could never understand why people thought my computer was fast until i saw the dial up speed on my niece's computer, it was so frustrating waiting for it.

Congrats, hope you enjoy it and also hope it`s not one of those with a `help line` based in India (sic) as I sometimes find their accents very difficult to understand when they`r e trying to explain something!!!

John you are sooo right...My mom has a Dell and her "help line" is from India!! It gets quite hard to understand sometimes....She makes me do it becuase she has problems understanding ENGLISH! LOL

We have a DSL too and I LOVE it..Way quicker then it use to be...:)

Try talking to them with a scottish accent-usually there is a shocked silence while they try and work out what planet you are from.

Hehehe funny that. I worked in international recruitment for awhile and my co worker was scottish, and we had many applicants from india. Those accents are a piece of cake to understand, it is the asian ones that I found most trying.
