A few months ago, I ran across a book that looked like a light & funny read and it turned out to be just that. It’s called “Other People’s Rejection Letters edited by Bill Shapiro and it you want a good chuckle, go for it. It’s not as serious as the title suggests!
Inside the book was a reference to a website called “Post Secret ~~~~~> PostSecret
It’s interesting, thought provoking and utterly heartbreaking to see the secrets that some people have to carry around with them. There are a few that are amusing and a few that are humorous for being so vacuous and a few that are humorous for sharing common perceptions that many of us have yet which are rarely a topic of discussion. The saddest ones can be pretty heavy and I’m sure it’s no coincidence that there are references on the site to suicide prevention.
You just never know what's really going on in other people's lives!
