... but in this day and age? The mind boggles ...

SUPERMUM Sue Radford Gave Birth to Her SIXTEENTH Baby ...... then told baker hubby Noel: “I want more.”

Sue got broody as soon as they took baby Casper home to swell Britain’s biggest family.

And the 37-year-old — who looks after her kids in a former care home and is NOT on benefits — says: “I just love being a mummy. We’re so lucky.”

Sue first got pregnant aged 14. She and Noel, now 41, were determined to keep baby Chris, now 23, as both were given up for adoption at birth.

The sweethearts married when Sue was 18 and Sophie, now 18, soon arrived. Then came Chloe, 17, Jack 15, Daniel, 13, and 11-year-old Luke. Millie, ten, Katie, nine, James, eight, Ellie, seven, Aimee, six, Josh, four, Max, three, and Tilly May, two, followed.

Oscar arrived last October before 8lb 8oz Casper was born seven weeks ago after a 16-MINUTE labour.

The family spends £250 a week on food. Every day they polish off three loaves of bread, two boxes of cereal and 18 pints of milk. An average supper can include 16 pork chops, 15lb of spuds, three cabbages and 30 carrots.

Their nine-bed home in Morecambe, Lancs, has an industrial-sized washing machine and huge fridge. And now it will be even MORE crowded after daughter Sophie gave birth to Sue and Noel’s first grandchild Daisy.

Yes dear it means both those but it doesn't equate to a problem.

My mind is boggled by the notion that any lady living in the 21st century in a first World country would fall pregnant sixteen times, unless of course it is against her religious beliefs to practice contraception.

And if this is the case then I am even more boggled that any intelligent lady living in the 21st Century in a First World country, would believe that not practicing contraception is in accordance with a religious belief. I am all for freedom of religion & in fact I am in favour of freedom of most things.

However to me, any lady giving birth to sixteen babies, is a "bogglement" ... but never a problem!

I think she's nuts, but they are not a problem to me either. Then again, I find all people to be nuts, it's just a matter of degree.
