So I'm lounging around with my laptop and my little Hissy Bitch, both of us facing the monitor because she seems to enjoy seeing what's online and one of my posts came up with the gif of that crazy kitten. Her ears perk up and she's watching it intently for as long as it's visible.
I like to pull up youtube videos of squirrels and/or birds for her amusement, she can watch them skittering around the screen for far longer than I can stay interested.
Do your pets watch TV?

I think so because if there's sheepdogs on tv rounding up sheep, our youngest runs around in circles as if to join in.

Nature shows with running herds of gazelles or whatever are good too. We had a cat that checked the side of the TV after they had run offscreen.
I'm a sucker for pets watching TV, it makes me laugh every time.

Mine don't show much interest in things online unless they hear barking, meowing or growling and even then it's only a brief acknowledgement with an ear twitch.
My male black cat was uninterested in tv unless an old movie with John Wayne came on ... he would suddenly become animated and pat at Mr. Wayne in a playful way. It was just a John Wayne thing, I guess! He seemed to be the only celebrity who was able to rouse him from his usual comatose sleeping habits.
My orange tabby, although a female, is named Archie because she becomes unusually lively & frisky when she hears the old "The Archies" song "Sugar Sugar". Again, I can't explain it. Maybe something with the tone or pitch. Who knows! Maybe she's just a fan of old "bubblegum" music.

I remember that song! hahaha
If I play something with meows or hisses, Hissy gets very upset and starts meowing back, looking at me quizzically. She's so cute.
