Tell me...Am I wrong?

Ill first start off by saying I do not discriminate against what religion you follow or believe in. I do not care if your black, white, or whatever. The only thing I discriminate against is intelligence, and that means if you get locked in a mattress store and you sleep on the floor, I will be judgmental of you. I'm not saying that I am the smartest guy ever or something like that, I know there are plenty of people smarter then me. Its just I value intelligence and if you act or portray yourself like you have none, I do have a problem with that.

So what I wanted too talk about is religion, or even more controversial, the thought of anti-religious people. Which I am. OK When you read that you probably thought to yourself, OMG HE WORSHIPS SATAN...or...THIS IS THE WORST TYPE OF PERSON. or something else like that. I don't worship Satan. I don't even think there is a "Satan" just as much as I don't believe in "God". Also I will have too say, I really do not think I'm that bad of a person either. I love my mama and I go too school and I eat my vegetables. I do make mistakes, just as much as the average person does. I do one illegal thing almost every day, and that is, I smoke pot. but I think the majority vote would be that Marijuana is not a bad thing too indulge in. Other than that I do not try to get in trouble. When I say that I am anti-religious I mean that I do not like how most religions have a certain enemy and cause's people too judge people immediately like you probably did with me when you saw my profile pic. I see the upside down cross as a perfect example why I am anti-religion. Many Christians have wanted too fight me for wearing it as a necklace or on my shirt, and when they do, I say "Is that what your god would want? Would he want you to hit me in the face for not believing in what you do. Or would he want you too turn the other cheek, or try too talk too me about the good grace of your god?" I really trip people up with that because then they have too think. They have to think, Would god want that? Would I be doing the right thing? If the outcome is they hit me. We fight. If the outcome is they understand what I was trying too say. I will try too be friends with you. If the outcome is they preach to me about there religion. I listen. I love people and what they believe in and there goals in life and everything. I don't judge.

What I really want too know is....am I a bad guy for believing in what I believe in..even though I try too do right in my life...I hope I'm not...

Thank you if you read all of that thoroughly. and I will do my best too reply to any questions or comments you have. Also sorry about my too and to problem, I suck with those while typing. I can get the difference if I'm writing on paper but if I'm typing its difficult :p

To be a little pedantic.

There's a good chance a Japanese person might indeed sleep on the floor of a mattress factory. The wisdom of knowing that might be a possibility has nothing to do with intelligence but of knowledge.

I take it however that you are an anti-religionist rather than merely an atheist. The only part of that, that would/could make you a bad person would be the actions you take as a consequence of what you believe.

I prefer the atheist path and respect the fact that religion provides a comfort to some and is important to them, providing of course it doesn't impact my life in any way.

I appreciate your statement, as I said I am anti-religious, but I don't take radical action, nor will I if the opportunity arises. I get the Japanese joke, very clever :)

Do you not think an inverted cross could be regarded as deliberately provocative. It seems you wear it as a Christian would wear a cross. Like a religion. Which would seem to me contrary to what Atheists in general would do

The upside down cross seems to promote your anti religious stance. Why promote what you really don't give a crap about? Live and let live..

I dont believe in God or Satan or anything which makes me atheist, but Im anti-religious. I have no religion, and that is what a atheist is. I just don't like what religion causes and does.

So can one believe in God, and also be "anti-religious" in your world?
