FBI: More People Killed with Hammers, Clubs Each Year than Rifles

Of course it's the large numbers of people that can be killed at one time with rifles as opposed to killing with hammers and clubs, never the less, it's an interesting statistic.

Rifles yes but what about guns in general.

68 percent of all homicides in the US are by guns

13 percent by knives

19 percent by all others.

Of course rifles are going to be lower than hand guns because they can't be concealed as easily. And I believe I read that a large percentage of homicides by rifles are suicides.

That sounds almost physically impossible. How could it be done?

Some of them are the "suicide by cop" type. Most rifles can be turned and the trigger reached if wanted.
