I ran across this cartoon a few days ago and had a good laugh! That was such a great show.
The running gag of Ralph's threat "To the moon, Alice ... one of these days ... to the moon" and the threatening gestures might possibly cause issues with viewers today but I'd like to think not. After all, it's still shown on reruns (MeTV & probably others!) and I haven't heard of any squawking. It was all done with affection and bluster!
Here's the ad for the show on MeTV ...
Now I want to catch a few shows!

This made me laugh out loud. I looked at the picture before reading the comment and couldn't figure out why there was a zombie on the moon. lol

I just saw the statue of Ralph Kramden in front of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. I am struck by how UN-fat Jackie Gleason was compared to today's specimens. There are sooooooo many people today larger than him.

Lucky you to have seen the statue, Anne! I had forgotten all about it. I did a search online & was able to see it for myself here: Ralph Kramden Statue, New York, New York
For a large man, he's a good dancer too:

& in the pic of post #8, just look at Ralph. He doesn't look fat at all compared to the average guy his age today. He was only 35 in this pic! I can't get over these 2 facts!

Especially 'cause Norton would say to him "Ralphie Boy, when you sit around the house you sit Around the House!" 8-D
