He was an astute observer of human nature with all of its foibles & idiosyncrasies and usually presented his case with gentle humor.

The quote you posted above is true for today but was equally as true 100 years ago and will still be true in another 100 years.

Those who study Human Nature tend to reach the same conclusions that the masters did.

I believe the American Founding Fathers studied and knew human nature as well. How could you study history and governments and not learn from the past?

History & politics is in large part a study of human nature in one degree or another. It's also a study of patterns if you look far enough & wide.
