How about them new Dreamliners?

Can't wait to experience one first hand. Nice to see Boeing producing another nice aircraft.

A couple of years ago I worked for a trucking company where I brought supplies from Boeing's Wichita plants to the Seattle ,WA area plants. I can't say I saw the 787 in production, been awhile.I saw enough of the facilities in Everett, and I suppose similar for the production of Airbus would be equally be impressive.

All in all, America is always better.:)

A new airliner is always fun to witness. I will enjoy the ride. The airbus is fun too.

They'll hammer the bugs out, I think in their efforts to make the plane as light as possible they're relying too much on electrical engineering a lot of the technology is all new and with that you will have problems. None of these incidents were catastrophic, no one died. I think that there is a lot of problems with the manufacturing process also, parts and systems are made all over the world and communication is not the best. I spent a lot of time in Russia sorting out bugs on Metro trains and preventing failures. Something electrical that functioned perfectly here fell to pieces in the harsh conditions those locomotives saw. The Soviets over built many things and there was a reason for it. Some of their components lasted for decades while some of ours only lasted months.

I can't say I would fly on one of them yet but these planes are the wave of the future.

With the media shrieking on every corner things can get out of control too.

As with all roll-outs, the bugs are expected to an extent.

It will be a fine method of travel!!!!

It does seem to be the batteries causing all of the problems and sorting that should not be a major task.
