BBC News - British Airways Christian employee Nadia Eweida wins case

It is interesting to note the slant being given to this. One of the cases upheld but the other three dismissed but the article majors of the first and relegates the other, arguably more important cases to an afterthought.

I don't understand the first one - the nurse- I might need more details.

But I can understand the last two not winning. IMO there are certain requirements in a job that are essential to the job. If your job is to marry folks, your job is to marry folks. If your job is public sex therapy, that is what it is.

Go private if you want to specialize.

Is that a cryptic reply ? I don't do cryptic.

It said Ms Eweida did not attend work for a period of time in 2006 while an internal appeal was held
It's now 2013.....might have been more than 6 years.

As an aside........"Ms Eweida, 60, a Coptic Christian from Twickenham in south-west London, told the BBC she was "jumping with joy" after the ruling"

She best be careful.......that cross could take an eye out.
