I never thought I'd wish my life away but I'm glad I'm getting older and won't have to live in a world like this for many more decades. This is obscene.

I can't imagine anything like this would pass. A case of rape is not dependent on pregnancy.

I'm glad this bill has little to no chance of being passed. It's quite outrageous.

Besides which, what possible evidence would be tampered with by aborting. I see very little joined up thinking amongst these fringe politicians

They do these crazy bills just to get attention. I'd like to see how he feels about it if his daughter or wife were raped and became pregnant?

An update:

Just one day after quietly introducing a whopper of a bill that would categorize abortions for pregnancies resulting from rape or incest as “tampering with evidence, New Mexico State Rep. Cathrynn N. Brown found herself doing some swift damage control.

As it still currently appears on the New Mexico Legislature’s page, Bill HB206 is blazingly, insanely straightforward. It explains that “tampering with evidence shall include procuring or facilitating an abortion, or compelling or coercing another to obtain an abortion of a fetus that is the rJust one day after quietly introducing a whopper of a bill that would categorize abortions for pregnancies resulting from rape or incest as “tampering with evidence, New Mexico State Rep. Cathrynn N. Brown found herself doing some swift damage control.
