good evening from a rather windy grumpy towers.
( have you had curry again grumpy ? ED)
tonight im writing off the pen and not off the peg
i,ve been comparing 2 news stories sky news and that murdock toilet paper the sun.
theres been a lot of uproar at mrs T,s funeral mostly about the cost around £10 million which in these times of austerity is an outrage as people struggle under the bedroom tax and asos bulldozing the disabled off DLA and chopping their benefits.
which is a typical tory move to hit the poor the disabled and needy first or those who cannot fight back which is no different to thatchers poll tax and saw those who couldnt pay it jailed.
according to the sun the thatcher funeral protests were a damp squib as the protesters were drowned out by well wishers even the BBC or should i say the bias broadcasting corporation kept the protests away from the camera having everyone believe that her funeral was tickety boo.
now according to sky news there were large areas behind the barriers that were mostly empty and not that many people came out to see mrs T off except politicians and A list celebs.
even the labour party stayed away apart from a few turncoats that came to the funeral and no real mention of the tory,s bed partners the lib dems who i suppose they turned out because they had to.
auntie beeb made sure that the crowds looked packed and i suppose the majority were londoners as her policies in the 80,s didnt effect them and besides it need the tax payers money for the obscene amount it pays in wages (this is why you need a tv licence).
how many of those in the side streets were protesters disguised as well wishers by the beeb.
was maggies funeral a damp squib and a big tory PR stunt in short YES....
