The violin used by Wallace Hartley as the band famously played “Nearer My God to Thee” as the Titanic sank more than 100 years ago was thought to have been lost. But it was recovered — inside a leather bag strapped to Hartley’s body, found days after the tragedy — and was finally authenticated this year, seven years after it had been found stashed away in an attic. This urn will turn you into a tree after you die. You can choose what kind of tree you want to become. I just find this so beautiful.

Just imagine cemeteries looking like this ... a forest of living, changing, beautiful trees. I think a tombstone holds much more finality in death than a tree. It’s like you are living on symbolically through something greater than yourself.
