In case you've ever wondered how they filmed the ceiling dance sequence from "Royal Wedding"!
It seems so simple especially compared to the effects in movies today but it kept people guessing for years.

I guess the neat trick is that neither the picture nor the chair never moved as the room rotated. I think I recall another one of these. Was there a song Dancing On the Ceiling? Lionel Richie, I'm thinking.

Found it! I don't remember ever hearing this song before but I'm not a big Lionel Ritchie fan so it must have it just passed me by!

Geesh, you know how to make a guy feel cheap (kidding). I happened to catch it once on one of those morning talk shows back when it first came out because the rotating room was a big deal.

Thanks, tabby! :-4 I had no internet for a week...a problem with the connection. A tech (who has worked for the company for 40 years) came to our home yesterday afternoon and fixed the problem.
