I am thankful I survived this crazy period of life on Earth.

Seriously, we need to do something now, regardless of consequences.

This is a great article from a 1975 Newsweek. I remember this being talked about in school.

I remember that article and several others.

the CIA even did a report on how the US needed to position itself to deal with the impact of an ice age.

Though in retrospect it show how a study can go terribly wrong if data sampling comes from too narrow a period.

Like when you look at the Ice Core samples, it seems every time the CO and Methane levels approach 400 ppm, something happens that drives it back down, fairly rapidly.

I suspect we might very soon find out what that "something" is.

I hope we like it.
