I'm sure many music fans will be familiar with this lady but she's new to me. I've seen her genre referred to as country, rockabilly and early rock & roll.

Wanda Jackson moved to my home town, 'Bakersfield CA' and was a huge part of the Bakersfield Tonk sound I grew up on.
My mom loved her and when I was about 11 we went and saw her show in Bakersfield...WOW she out shined all the other stars that night..
