Me too Snooze ... I so love ruins and abandoned buildings cos they have such life ... such character even though they no longer have people in then.

I'd love to visit the Channel Islands, they look like paradise. I have Guernsey on my news feed on FB so I can see all their activities and beautiful photos. Yes, I realize they're not part of England but then neither is Scotland.

Oddly enough, I have never been to the Channels Isles ... I think they could be worth a visit.
