It is a noble quest you are on my dear ... But acceptance by whom? Your peers? the world at large? a particular person or group of people?

Total SELF acceptance & acceptance of the tragedies I have endured. Self love, not selfish love. To accept there are questions with no answers. That is what I seek.

AH ... Now that is a far easier task then Annie love.

First off you have to believe that you only have control over a split second in your life ... everything else happened in the past and is out of your control, just like tomorrow or the next day. There is no re-wind button on your life dear, so what has happened is done and dusted ... tragedies and all.

Personally, I have made so many mistakes in my life ... in my childhood, my teens, as a young adult and as a mature man.

The secret is to let the past go and put you energy on what you can control ... the here and now.

Take a deep breath now Annie and start afresh ... yesterday is dead and gone.

Yes, all well & good, But.............letting go is easier for the conscious mind then the subconscious mind. Dreams. I'm haunted by dreams..........which show me I have not yet let go. That's why I meditate. I must be cleansed from the inside out. I've never been one, in the past to just "shake things off" so I'm learning to do so now. Better late than never I suppose. Folks spend their entire lives trying to "achieve" what I'm first learning how to do. Because I Must. I've suffered a terrible loss of my entire family, save my son. It hurts so deep it's indescribable. And..........there is no answer to the question "Why?" It's hard to accept the apparent answer of "Why Not?" because in this instance, it doesn't fit.

I was thinking the same thing, but in a much KINDER way. There always are kinder ways, sometimes we just don't feel like using them; I'm supposing (a dangerous thing) you feel he's undeserving of a kinder way. I admit to feeling that way too sometimes, just never about JJ.
