#669 ... Vacuuming a dirty carpet and hearing all the tiny rocks going through the hose. Since we’re lugging the heavy vacuum up from the basement, moving couches around, and getting the whole room smelling like hot dirt, it’s mighty nice when those rattling little pebbles pipe up and let us know it was alllllll worth it.
AWESOME!

Or when you really, really feel like a cold beer and think you gonna have to schlep off to the store but find a six pack right at the back of the refrigerator!

It's not so awesome though when you're vacuuming near the dresser and hear that noise ... I'm always stricken with the fear that I've just sucked up a much loved earring that may have fallen off the dresser. :-3

Too true Tabs but at least you can empty the vacuum bag! Better than a click and a plop as you flush the loo and look in the mirror to see only one ear has the much loved earring in it! :-5

Very true, JJ ! That probably happens less with pierced earrings than with the old fashioned clip-on earrings. I've had pierced ears since I was old enough to wear jewelry but I've tried some of my mother's old clip-ons just for fun and those things hurt after a few minutes!
