Wouldn't it be cheeky if somehow all the current FG Crew were to meet at a bodacious bar in...oh....DUBLIN or Farmington, NM and we each had to arrive in shirts emblazoned with our screen names!?! Even people I strongly disagree with would be welcome!! Except one perhaps, but wouldn't it be cool! I have a mental picture of those FG'er's that have still not posted their photos, and BR is one! I picture her looking like a cross between Joan Jett & Camilla Bowles.

And David what an amazing idea, maybe one day a FG reunion would be cool. I visited another Forum one time some weeks ago and they were planning their annual June gathering. I thought OMG we all should try that some time.

Who would surprise you the most when you saw them? I think that would have to be a secret ballot kind of thing. Way fun.

...but if nobody looks like or is the same as their FG `persona`, (except Carla, who actually looks like her lovely avatar!), then how would we all recognise each other at the reunion?!

well I think what would be fun would be to put all our FG names in a hat, then when we arrive at the door, we draw a name from the hat, and pin it on ourselves and then go around and mingle but as we do so, folks have to guess who you are for real.

And you could carry a tally sheet, and for every right guess you get you put the persons name down, and after a couple hours you then see who guessed all the right ones. They win a prize then we all introduce ourselves to the entire cast An AA kind of intro, you stand up "hi my name is Minks, I am a FG addict and no matter what you say to me or about me I ain't leaving the garden." hehehehehehehehe

I belonged to a group of BBS'ers that would phone each other's computers to post messages and play games. This was before the internet took off {wait a second; I'm feeling old ...... .... okay I'm over it} and everybody lived in the area. We got together for a picnic and tried to figure out who each other was. To my amazement, there were only one or two that fit the computer geek stereotype. Most were relatively normal. That first meeting blossomed into monthly outings, Christmas & New Years parties, romances even.

We should do this, at least regionally.
