I have, amazingly, never emailed while drunk. Probably because my internet exposure began a very short time before I quit drinking. Otherwise, I am 100% positive I would have sent off something I'd later regret!

Does knowing that I would have EUI'ed if I hadn't quit drinking help at all? :yh_bigsmi

Good question AnewLife, I think there should be some guide lines while posting. Then again who is going to know if your drinking or not until you make a blasted fool of yourself. :-3

I can pretty much make a fool of myself with or without a drink. I will say you can tell when a poster is a bit tipsy so to speak, they have a different flare or anger to their post. :-2

Hell I couldn't type drunk, just like I can't drive drunk, so I don't post drunk, or drive drunk.. :driving:

PUI....posting under the influence...hahaha,someone apologized to me for it last week and then came back and did it again. LOL just take it with a grain of salt.

i don't need alcohol or any other mind alterant to make an utter and complete ass of myself online. i have a natural and inborne facility for doing so.

that said, i have emailed while tipsy - EWT - a small handful of times over the years. i'm an extremely cheap date though, so usually after a full glass of wine i'm more inclined to taking a nap than posting or emailing.

All I ever do while on the computer is Smoke the ciggies.

No law against it, but Gin & Tonic on the keyboard sure makes the keys stick.

I know of no specific laws against e-mailing and imbibing alcohol at the same time, but I`d be very careful that you don`t spill any of that booze on your laptop as you`re driving along and answering your phone all at the same time!

I've been known to throw a few back in my past, then google anyone who has ever been mean to me in my life. Sometimes you find an email address when you do that. Thank goodness not all were ligit and (hopefully) are lost in internet land somewhere.

not on e-mail but oh boy do i regret some of the phone calls ive made & text messages ive sent, next day they seldom make sence to me let alone the poor soul that got them

I don't know why it matters if someone has been drinking or not. If ya say somethin' dumb...SOMEONE's going to to call you on it alcohol or no. One person pointing out someone is drunk is almost as bad as another using it as an excuse. I thought the point here was debating what is said, not whether they were drunk when they said it or not. If I said something really profound when I was drunk...does the alcohol get the credit for that? No. No one cares. So why care when it's something stupid that came out instead?
