So terror suspect Mohammed Ahmed Mohamed evaded the authorities by disguising himself in a burqa. Surely time for this piece of clothing to be banned on the streets?

Or perhaps Home affairs are waiting for Mohamed to appear in court so that his legal proceedings in which he is suing the government, claiming that it was complicit in his torture in Somaliland, can be done and dusted first. After all, he does have rights you know!

Or maybe they are waiting for him to complete his case against them and then flee the courtroom disguised in a burqa?

I would say incredible but such things happen here with all to often regularity, although not often on such high profile cases.

Isn't it against Sharia law for men to dress as women?

My neighborhood now has too many women dressed this way. One young woman had such a tiny slit for her eyes I wondered how she could see. And another curiosity is that many of these women, the young, slim ones, wear skin tight burqas. Maybe I can't see actual skin, but I can see her form explicitly.
